The executive summary to the draft environmental impact statement provides an outline of the Queensland Curtis LNG Project. It focuses on key issues to allow the reader to gain a clear understanding of the Project and its potential adverse and beneficial environmental, social and economic impacts, and the measures QGC will implement to mitigate adverse impacts.

The executive summary also includes the rationale behind the Project, describes the Project’s core components, presents alternative options considered and outlines the legal framework, relevant decision-making authorities and advisory agencies.
